Lockdown Update from the Philippines 😊

On Monday April 6, 2020 President Duterte informed us that the quarantine will be extended from initially 1 month until April 30. This makes it 45 days. Although nobody gets any financial support here in the Philippines, we are forced to stay inside our homes.

The president warned us that when people are walking outside the police is allowed to “shoot to kill”. Of course this is going to create some major problems if this goes on for much longer. Already noticed some people ignoring the warnings of staying inside .. trying to make some money, so they can purchase some food.
At the moment people are staying calm where I am living … however not sure if this will be the case in the big cities. Just imagine being forced to stay inside without food and no support. Some don’t even have water to wash themselves. You understand if this goes on much longer it is going to cause some major problems.

Now the question is of course .. what does the Bible say about this? What would Jesus do?
We all know the verse in Romans 13:1-7 NKJV:
“13Β Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2Β Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.”

Now of course we don’t want to bring judgment on ourselves, but does that mean we just accept what is happening right now? I think this is the issue many Christians are facing or will be facing soon. Let me know .. what do you think is right? Should we submit and for how long and of course why not or why yes?

By the way .. have an awesome EASTER ✝. Remember the Risen Lord. Rejoice!! πŸ™Œ Here a little song that reminds us of the goodness of Jesus.

Looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks for your continued support of our Support A Child Program .. BIG help!!

Lots of love ❀️ from the Philippines,
Arthur Peter πŸ˜ƒ

Covid19 Update from the Philippines πŸ˜ƒ

How are you doing? It looks like many countries are joining the Philippines in a lockdown.

Here in the Philippines we are in our 3rd week. The President even informed the police .. “shoot to kill” .. guess President Duterte is trying to make the point .. that he is taking this lockdown serious and that people need to stay inside.

Beside being bored πŸ₯± and not having an income .. most people here also don’t have water .. it is summer … so that means our water is rationed ..

Now you can imagine .. that being in a situation like this .. can play tricks on your mind .. correct? .. with all the countries shutting down and going crazy .. fear can creep into your heart or you can start worrying .. sounds familiar? .. since I am human .. I have the same .. it just remind me of this song ..

However, the Bible says: “6Β Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7Β and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

Now we probably all know God is not a fan of fear or worries .. since that is not faith .. so He told us .. when you start worrying you are meditating on the wrong thing .. but that is easier said than done .. how can you change your mind? How can you focus on something that is different than all this fear the world is trying to put on you?

Very simple .. at least it works for me .. when you notice that fear creeps into your heart or you start worrying about this coronavirus .. start praying or in other words .. lift up your hands and worship HIM ..
Here is a song to get started .. just join in and sing out LOUD 🎢 ..

I recommend you to sing loud .. it is very important to have more noise coming out of your mouth than in your mind ..

Now how did that make you feel? Did the peace of God enter your heart? It helps me every time .. hope it helps you too.

Enjoy this time at home with family .. stay at home as much as possible and be sure to do some social distancing when you are outside. Enjoy this extra time you can have with God.

Let me know how you are doing? Love to hear from you. ❀️

Lots of love from the Philippines.
Arthur Peter 😊

How are you doing? Also lockdown?

How are you doing? As this Covid19 is spreading all throughout the world .. how are you doing? Are you in lockdown or still able to move freely?

Philippines has been in lockdown now for 15 days or a half a month now. How are we doing?

Guess physically we are doing good here .. no one is sick or infected. Planning to keep you all updated about our lockdown experience here in the Philippines … sometimes hard facing the daily problems here but good we have God’s word who says:
4Β For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the worldβ€”our faith.” 1 John 5:4 NKJV

This past week I watched a very encouraging movie “OVERCOMER” .. great Christian movie. If you are looking for some encouragement this month .. check out this movie.

In this movie there was a very nice song that really helped and blessed me:
Overcomer by Mandisa .. Enjoy and be encouraged as you listen to song below.

Thanks for all your continued support and changing lives one at a time.

Official Registration TTN Ministry Philippines

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

As I am recovering from my 10K run I received some emails in which people were asking how the registration of TTN Ministry Philippines is going?

Thanks for asking .. really appreciate that!
😘😘 It is nice to have people that are living with us here. πŸ‘πŸ‘

At the moment we are still working on filing and preparing the paperwork that needs to be done. I am working on writing the constitution and by laws. It is getting there .. maybe need 1 more month. Once that is done it is just a matter of getting it signed by board members and submitting the papers. Once we submit the papers it most likely will take another 3 months .. unless some papers are not approved or accepted than it will take longer, however, I don’t expect to many problems.

I will keep you posted. For those who are praying
πŸ™ .. please pray for wisdom so all papers are done correctly the first time, so nothing has to be corrected or adjusted.

Thanks for making a difference and changing lives.

Lots of love from the Philippines.

Finished my 10K running race

24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 NKJV

Sunday June 16 @ 5:15am I was part of a 10K race. It was a huge event in Puerto Princesa City. Have been training very hard and was curious how I would do. It was the day of reality. The Bible says that we will reap what we sow. The same applies with running .. if you neglected training and skipped some days … this is the time you will notice it.

Many runners started fast but after 1k-2k you could scrape them from the floor. It was a good day for me. I finished 7th in the run and reached my time I have been training for. I was 11 seconds faster than aimed for and got a personal best. So needless to say I was very happy and pleased. I got what I trained for.

However, many people were disappointed because they didn’t reach their time. It was slower than they hoped for. You see I think that is how it will be too with most of us Christians. God has given us gifts and talents, but what do we do with the gifts and talents God has given us? If we don’t use what God has given us and develop them through training, study and hard work, how can we expect to have a big reward in heaven. Yes we will saved and go to heaven. That is not the issue. The issue is after you got saved, what are you doing with the gifts and talents God has given you? If you are not willing to train yourself and improve your gifts and talents, you are like these runners that didn’t train but expected to be #1. Sorry to say but that is not going to happen.

This reminds me of a quote: “Hard work beats talent, if talent is not willing to work hard.” You see when I get to heaven I want Jesus to say “good and faithful servant” Matt. 25:23. Be sure to develop and use your talents. Run your race in such a way that you may obtain it and don’t waste a minute in your life doing that what is not profitable.

Thanks again for supporting these kids in the Philippines with their studies. You are making a difference in their life. Thanks for giving them hope (

Lots of love from the Philippines.

Running 10K Race this Sunday!!!

This coming Sunday June 16 @ 5:15am I will be running a 10K race. There will be probably a few thousand runners. It is a huge event in Puerto Princesa City. I have been training very hard and looking forward to see the results of all the hard work.

This run is reminding me of 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 .. we all run in a race .. every person has a life and has a race to run. Something to accomplish. God created every person to do something with their life.

The apostle Paul says we should be running in a way to obtain the price .. now here is my question .. what are you doing in your life to obtain the price? What are you doing with your life to win the price.

How are you living your life? Just wasting the gift God has given you? What are you doing with the gift God has given you? Developing it? Working on making it grow?
For me personally as you maybe know .. I want to support 1000 kids ( with their studies .. so they can finish their elementary and high school studies .. and have a future.

What are you doing with your life? When you die and Jesus asks you .. what did you do with your life? What is your answer going to be?

Don’t waste your life .. Life is so precious … don’t waste a minute working towards what God has called you to do. Run your race in a way to obtain the price. Don’t waste your life with being busy with the perishable stuff but instead run your race to obtain the imperishable crown.

Lots of love from the Philippines,
                     Arthur Peter

Yippee! Tap water is coming back again …

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

Yippee!!! Water is starting to come back again. As rainy season is approaching and we are starting to get rain .. water is returning in our taps again.

We have been almost 1 month without water. Jesus calling Himself living water … hmm interesting .. we only had to live 1 month without water and that was hard. Not possible to live without water. The same applies to Jesus .. we can’t live without Jesus. We need Jesus in everything we do.

What a blessing to have water again .. as I was preparing to run a 10k race at 4am .. I noticed around 2am that water was starting to flow. So before running the race we were busy filling buckets with water. Good warming up!

Made it on time for the 10k .. Runs are always done here around 4am because it is too hot to run during day light. See picture of me at starting line. I am the white guy .. the light bulb with orange neon shirt. It was good to join the 10k run. It is good to have regular exercise. God’s word tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” Therefore we better take good care of our bodies. What we eat and get regular exercise.

Thanks for continued faithful support of our Support A Child Program. If you know anyone who would be interested in supporting some kids .. let them know. I have a waiting list of 100 kids that is waiting for support.

Lots of Love from the Philippines.

24 Days .. still no water

“Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Proverbs 31:9 NKJV

It has been now 24 days ago that we had water (since Monday April 22). It rained here a few days so we had water for a few days but there is nothing in the tap again. It is a little like this picture here .. time of joy and than .. oh noooo … the good thing is we are arriving at the end of dry season here in the Philippines (May). As June is arriving we are entering into rainy season (June – November).

God has been very good .. we found a place about 30-40 minutes drive from where we live where we can get water .. after we pick up water it is time to use our muscles.. I live on the 2nd floor, so we have to carry up the water in buckets … Good for the leg muscles .. and helps me to stay fit.

If you have problems with your weight maybe consider coming to the Philippines. I have some great ways to get you in shape .. hahaha …

To my faithful supporters have a favor to ask you .. do you have any suggestions how to spread Support A Child program? At the moment I have a list with 100 kids waiting for support. TTN eventually wants to support 1,000 kids through SUPPORT A CHILD and make a difference. Let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas how I can inform and spread SUPPORT A CHILD ministry?

Until next time. Thanks for being part of this ministry.
God bless,
Arthur Peter
